Here at Buckwheat Valley Ranch our breeding animals receive very good care to ensure a good well rounded life with plenty of love and exercise. After a few years of breeding our dogs are usually ready to be placed into a loving home where they can retire and live the rest of their lives in a home where they can fill the needs for someone as a loving companion etc.
The price for these dogs are usually cheaper than a puppy but also enough to cover a final vet check and do the spay/neuter etc before they leave. It is also advisable to have a professional trainer spend some time with the dog to get his or her basic commands training done. An adult dog will probably not adapt to just any home as well as a puppy would but with the proper preparation the transition should go quite well if you choose to pick an adult instead of a puppy.
The dogs listed below are available for retirement. Each dog is unique and has its own personality traits already set so it is advised that you pay close attention to what your specific environment/needs are for your dog. Please call us in plenty of time in advance to discuss whether or not we have something that may fit your home and lifestyle situation.
These dogs are also excellent therapy dogs and we love helping fitting therapy organizations with excellent therapy training prospect dogs.. If you are a non-profit therapy organization and are looking to be placed on our list for future adult prospects please let us know so we can put you on our list for the future.

Scutter is a beautiful black tri girl with a great personality and just an overall pleasing attitude. Her blue eyes will capture your attention and her overall beautiful appearance will really win your affection.
While she is not a tall girl she is heavyset with a stocky body type.

Dakota is a wonderful easy going type of dog who knows nothing but love for everyone. She has been an excellent mom of beautiful puppies and it is now time for her to move on into a retirement home. We have nothing but good things to say about her.

Jackson is just a big lovely boy with a pretty easy going attitude about life.. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body.. He arrived here from Wyoming last December and since his breeding abilities are just not needed here it would be our desire to see him enter a loving retirement home.
